a little more about courtney

Courtney is a Phoenix-based photographer and Arizona native. She is a graduate of Arizona State University with a BA in Print Journalism and has worked for newspapers in Arizona, Iowa and Utah.

Courtney has won numerous awards from ASU's Walter Cronkite School of Journalism, the National Press Photographers Association, Iowa Associated Press of Managing Editors and the Society of Professional Journalists. Courtney and a team of ASU students were awarded the Robert F. Kennedy Award for Print College Journalism for their work along the U.S./Mexico border.

Courtney uses her eye for creativity as a wedding photographer to capture emotional images in the same documentary tradition she has pursued during her photojournalism career.
